I'm thrilled and honored to announce that I have been elected as the Public Director for the Ontario Realtors®Care Foundation! 

As a dedicated member of the real estate community, I'm excited to have the opportunity to continue to give back and support the important work that this organization does. 

I look forward to working with my colleagues to continue positively impacting our local communities and beyond.

Annual Jam With A Past President

On Monday, November 27, 2023, 150 REALTORS® came together for the 17th "Brian
Walker's Jam With A Past President."

Together, we raised over $15,000 for shelter-related causes in Ontario! Funds
raised are granted to registered charities that improve the quality of Ontarians'
lives by providing a refuge, haven, or other type of protection from the effects of
hunger, the elements, abuse, disabilities, and illness.

MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR CHARITY

Imagining the Impact we could make if we had more Richard Hawkins! This retired Peterborough, Ontario REALTOR® has attended ALL SIXTEEN(!!!) of the Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation's Motorcycle Rides for Charity.  He is also the top Ride fundraiser, having raised almost 3% of all the funds ever collected from this event.  See how Ontario REALTORS® have Real Heart at www.realheart.ca!

FEED THE NEED

Earlier this month, I had the honour of spending the day with @onrealtorscare in support of @ftndurham!

We donated $20,000, which equates to 60,000 Meals!

I learned how they have served and connected with Ukrainian refugees and got the opportunity to view their Marketplace. In this space, individuals and families can choose the items they need most. 

Then we spent a couple hours sorting and packaging food and personal hygiene products to support those in the community! It was such a wonderful way to spend the day and support those in our community!

As the Public Director of the Ontario Realtors®Care Foundation and dedicated member of the real estate community, I'm excited to have the opportunity to continue to give back and support the important work that this organization does. Witnessing the tireless efforts to raise funds for shelter-related causes is truly inspiring. This could not be possible without the dedicated members of our board, our community partners, sponsors, volunteers and Realtors across Ontario who continue to fundraise in support of shelter-related causes that positively impacting our local communities and beyond!
